Pokerstars is running a new promotion that will be sending lucky winners on a killer trip to Las Vegas. It’s called the Meet Joe Cada promotion, and winners will get prize packages that include buy-in to a North American Poker Tour tournament, $1000 in spending money, a day to hang out with WSOP champ Joe Cada, and 5 nights hotel stay. What makes this promotion even better is that it’s free to enter! Players have the choice to enter daily freeroll tournaments every night from now to Feb. 12th. If once a day isn’t enough for you, you can also play in $1.10 satellite tournaments that run twice a day.
The freeroll tournaments start at 21:00 ET every day. These are fast tournaments, with 5 minute blinds and just 1000 chip starting stacks. There’s a maximum of 10,000 entries, so sign up early. The top 45 players make it to the Weekly Finals events where the top 18 will go on to the Grand Final event on February 13th.
Players can enter the $1.10 satellite tournaments at 20:00 and 23:00 ET every day. These have better blind structures, with 1500 chip starting stacks and 10 minute blind levels. the top 20% of the field win seats into the Weekly Finals.
What’s the North American Poker Tour? It’s another one of the Pokerstars tour series’ that seem to be popping up every week lately. There are 3 tournaments scheduled for 2010 so far, including this one which will be held at the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from Feb. 20th – 24th. This event has a direct buy-in of $5K, but you can win your seat by playing in these Pokerstars satellite tournaments.
